    Services that you will provide as landlord

    • Conclusion of the sublease contract (will be prepared by UMS) as well as the hand-over/take-over report
    • Thorough cleaning of the apartment before the rental period, as well as final cleaning after the rental period (can be delegated to UMS)
    • Ensuring that the apartment is in a perfect condition for the rental period
    • Sufficient bed linen and towels (incl. washing after the rental period)
    • Sufficient free space in cupboards, shoe cabinets, etc. (so that the sub-tenants can store their belongings)
    • Hand-over and take-over of the keys to/by the sub-tenant. Ensure that the same person is present on both occasions. In case of absence, arrangement for a representative.

    Internet connection

    UMS acts as an agent for predominantly business people. Many business people also work in the rented flat. This is why a fast flat rate internet connection is often a must. The sublessee requires an installation CD and the corresponding passwords besides a modem connection.

    Contact with the Sublessee

    Please make sure that your sublessee can contact you during your absence within an appropriate time limit. Please tell your sublessees whom they can contact if you are not available and inform the contact person about his or her competences.
