As the sublessee, you are responsible towards your landlord for the apartment and furnishing.
The price that you pay for the apartment includes a final cleaning. You do not have to clean the apartment yourself once you have finished your sojourn. On the other hand, it is important that you tidy the apartment, wash the dishes and dispose of waste and perishable goods before your departure.
Please make sure that you can contact the landlord within an appropriate time limit, also during his or her absence. If necessary, inquire before the departure of the landlord if there is an informed contact person who can act as a substitute in important cases.
