When you offer your apartment through UMS, you benefit from our highly developed examination procedure which allows us to examine potential sublessees. We only furnish parties who are seriously interested in your apartment.
You will be able to save time and energy and can focus on more urgent matters before your departure.
Even if the experience shows that only very rarely do bigger problems with sublessees occur, it is worthwhile to take the security aspect seriously - we support you in that!
In principle, we only furnish interested persons that have indicated an employer in Switzerland as a reference and, if possible, after having received a confirmation of the employment by the employer.
We also have the possibility to get further information such as information about the solvency of Swiss or German residents.
If our verifications have given us a positive impression of the seriousness of a person and his employer, then we accept its registration. If not, then we refuse the mandate.
Although we spend quite a lot of time with the examination procedure, we cannot take any guarantee whatsoever for the sublessee procured. In the end, you decide yourself with whom you want to conclude a sublease contract.
Before you conclude a sublease contract, we therefore recommend that you confer with us about the security check we have already been undertaking.
