The European Union has attested to the fact that Switzerland guarantees sufficient data protection. The place of processing is the EU and Switzerland. All our contract data processors (data center, support, accounting) comply with the aforementioned laws and requirements.

It is possible to use the tempoFLAT website without providing any personal data. However, if a data subject would like to use special services provided by our company through our website, this could necessitate the processing of personal data.

Processing of personal data

Personal data is all information related to a specific or identifiable natural person. A data subject is any individual whose personal data is processed. Processing is defined as any operation performed on personal data such as collection, recording, retaining, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

Consent

If consent is required in order to process the data, we will obtain this consent from the data subject (Opt-in).

Reason for and duration of processing of data

tempoFLAT is an online portal for persons providing and looking for primarily furnished residences that are offered or rented temporarily or for a fixed time period.

We save, read and send in part or in full to potential landlords or tenants all of the data that you enter into the portal, messages that you send to landlords or prospective tenants, and scheduled viewing appointments or booking requests. This data forms the basis for us to provide our services with the aim of concluding a sub-/lease contract.

The data is processed for the purpose of performance of said sub-/lease contract or is one of the steps required prior to entering into a contract as part of initiating a contract.

On our portal we allow users to create and conclude a legally valid sub-/lease contract online. In connection with this sub-/lease contract, we collect personal data from the contracting parties.

Data will be stored, added to and updated for as long as necessary for the purpose for which the personal data was collected, as long as this does not conflict with other legal requirements, such as retention requirements in compliance with Swiss Law.

Right of access, rectification, restriction of processing, erasure and the right to object

You have the right to access your personal data that we have saved as well as information on that data. You also have the right to rectify your personal data, restrict the processing of your personal data, or have your personal data erased – with the exception of the data storage necessary to process business transactions or to comply with retention requirements.

You can also object to the processing of your personal data, withdraw your consent for the processing of your data, or exercise your right to data portability where applicable.

Should you want to exercise any of these rights, please contact us: service@ums.ch

Data security

We have implemented extensive technical and organisational measures to ensure the most comprehensive protection possible for the personal data that we process.
